Sales & Marketing

The past successes of Redhead International, and the planned future growth are dependent on the Services that we provide and the performance of our Sales and Marketing Department in bringing these Services to an ever wider Customer Base. We try our utmost to operate good services, and whilst they often "sell themselves", it is vital in the wider European Market to make the most of Marketing and Selling opportunities, and to achieve this, we rely on the a range of staff.

Customer Services

Our customer service staff are our front line troops and are usually the first point of contact for customers. They therefore need to understand our capabilities and use experience and judgment to match the customer’s requirements to the most appropriate service.

They also need to make sure that they gather enough information from the client to enable the shipment of the consignment to be planned and carried out successfully and on time: every time!

The job entails providing the quotation, taking and entering the booking, checking on collections & deliveries, confirming to the client successful delivery and liaising with our international offices and partners. You will also be involved in some aspects of the administration; in fact you will be looking after the customer from beginning to end, even down to filing the documents afterwards!

This job needs people who enjoy building up a good customer relationship with a wide variety of people and genuinely like to be helpful.

Sales Representatives

Our Sales representatives, are experienced freight forwarders or transport planners, who, both through choice and ability feel that they can help the Company to acquire new and maintain existing clients. Because of the level of experience required to fulfil this position effectively, it is not one for which we would frequently advertise. However, we would always welcome applications from candidates who feel that they may be able to offer the skills we need.

Sales Administration

This position is internal and based at our Low Moor Head Office and will probably require some experience. It involves the administration of our Sales team. This will involve a wide range of work, which will require candidates to have first class communication skills, general administrative abilities, good keyboard skills, an above average knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, in addition to being literate and numerate.

These skills will be required to handle a varied workload, which in the main will comprise the following:

You will be required to produce, co-ordinate, file, monitor and update all our sales tariffs on our operational computer system. The role includes the management and co-ordination of our external Sales Team’s appointments.This position will be the focus for Sales Enquiries and Queries, and their co-ordination.

An important aspect of Sales Administration is that of co-ordinating and producing statistics, on all our Sales activities, and ensuring that targets and deadlines are met. This is a central role within our Sales & Marketing Department, and presents an excellent job opportunity.

Marketing

We do employ staff in the area of Sales & Marketing support, who fulfil a range of administrative roles, which can be interchangeable, and therefore need a flexible approach. The principle skills required for these positions are a good understanding of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Access, Excel and Powerpoint In addition to excellent communication skills are essential.

The work includes the preparation of quotations, tenders, database creation, direct marketing material, customer enquiries, and a range of associated activities, which creates some interesting roles.

Telemarketing/Sales

The continued growth of Redhead International depends on high levels of performance from our sales & marketing departments. We now wish to add to our sales team and we are looking for a highly motivated, experienced outbound telemarketing person.

With an emphasis on the retention & growth of our existing customer base you will be contacting our new customers; ensuring their first experience of us was a good one and to establish whether they have further growth potential. Along side this you will also contact our existing customers to ensure they are happy with the service level they are getting & inform them of our latest services.

The successful candidate will be expected to be able to work in an organised manner, co-ordinate the results of your efforts & communicate areas of concern or opportunity to the sales team and be familiar with Microsoft Office software, Excel, Word etc.

This position is based at our Low Moor head office, we would be willing to consider some flexibility in the hours worked and the salary is negotiable subject to experience & ability.
